The Scituate Food Pantry is funded 100% by monetary and food donations by people like you.

We receive no state or federal funding and we rely solely on donations from our community and local businesses. 

How you can help today!

1. Monetary donations: Direct monetary donations are used to purchase food and help our Pantry manage operational expenses critical to supporting our community, including grocery bags, electricity and heating bills for the Pantry, office supplies and more.

Monetary donations can be made by check or via PayPal.
When donating in honor of memory, honor or recognition of an individual, please email the Pantry with details after submitting your PayPal donation.

​Please note: we prefer monetary donations to gift cards as gift cards limit the items we can provide to our clients.

2. Food donations: You can donate food items from our most needed items list. While we welcome all non-perishable contributions, our Pantry's shopping list represents what we our neighbors currently need right now.

**Please note: We cannot accept donations of expired food items or open packages.**

Hosting an Event?

Consider turning it into a "Party with a Purpose"
To host a successful Party with a Purpose, here are our tips to have a successfull event. And of course if you need any help along the way, the Pantry would be happy to assist.

  • STEP 1: Set a goal. 
  • STEP 2: Set expectations with your invitation
  • STEP 3: Make the invitation personal
  • STEP 4: Plan a party that is manageable for you
  • STEP 5: Don't forget about the fun details
  • STEP 6: Tie the party with a purpose together
  • STEP 7: Keep track of donations and follow up with Thank yous. ​If you need help delivering your donations to the Pantry, let us know we can schedule a time to pick up.
